Shane Richardson
President
Shane Richardson is the President of Lagrange. Shane has a background in applying project controls solutions across varying industries including nuclear, mining, oil and gas, environmental remediation, government and commercial. Shane has worked in various roles supporting both Owners and GCs developing robust project controls systems that leverage data to support sound decision making. Shane also has a background in construction litigation supporting both quantum and schedule delay claims in the US and overseas. Shane graduated from Washington State University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and attended Pepperdine University for his MBA.
Derek Chen
Vice President
Derek Chen is the Vice President of Lagrange. At Lagrange, Derek’s focus is developing and integrating structures, processes, and procedures to better control internal operations with the aim to improve an organization’s overall performance and its ability to manage changes. Derek has a background in applying EVMS and project controls solutions across various organizations including Design Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Subcontract Management from multi-billion dollar DOE projects to commercial residential developments. Derek graduated from University of Washington with a BS in Electrical Engineering and is a certified PMP & Professional Engineer in the State of Washington.
JC VanBrunt
Director
JC VanBrunt is a Director at Lagrange, a management consulting firm providing project controls and program management services. JC is responsible for providing data integration and developing reporting capabilities for clients. Prior to Lagrange, JC was at FTI Consulting as an analyst in the Construction Solutions practice where he worked on construction cost claims and preparing expert witness reports for arbitration and litigation. JC graduated from the University of Washington with a Business Administration degree focused in Finance and Accounting.

Alexia Morgan
Senior Consultant
Alex is a Senior Consultant at Lagrange, a management consulting firm providing project controls and program management services. There she provides schedule development and maintenance expertise. Prior to Lagrange, Alex worked nearly 10 years in roles ranging from Cost Engineer, Scheduler, and Estimator to most recently Regional Project Controls Lead for tech start-up Katerra. She has helped manage budgets and schedules for jobs ranging from multi-billion dollar nuclear waste remediation and national security projects with Bechtel to geotechnical exploration with Crux Subsurface to mass timber commercial and multifamily residential with Katerra. Alex graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Technology.
