There are five major components of scheduling. Fail to do them adequately and your project may skyrocket into deep space and cost a fortune

Scheduling services that Lagrange offer but not limited to:

  1. Schedule Development
  2. Baseline Schedule Review
  3. Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  4. Forensic Analysis
  5. Progress Update

SCHEDULE DEVELOPMENT

Working with the project managers and contractors, we develop critical path methodology (CPM) schedules from a “best practices” standpoint. Our schedule development and analysis include:

  • Breakdown Scope and Develop WBS
  • Breakdown Organization and Develop Phasing Strategy
  • Develop Work Packages and Activities
  • Develop Activity Logic
  • Allocate Resources and Costs
  • Estimate Durations
  • Risk Analysis and Monte Carlo Simulation

BASELINE SCHEDULE REVIEW

Schedules are typically complex compilations of input from multiple stakeholders. A schedule review seeks to ensure that the schedule reflects the defined scope, is suitable for control purposes, meets the stakeholders milestone & contractual requirements, and all parties agree on and understand its content, including its probabilistic nature in relation to various agreements made. We also evaluate schedules for sound activity logic; allocated resources; critical path and other important planning elements necessary to deliver the project as planned.

These schedules will become the baseline for the project and then all work on the project is measured against them.

MASTER SCHEDULE

We have developed a master scheduling template that facilitates program & project management schedule coordination. This template includes considerations for project phases such as major design, permitting and construction milestones.

Our innovative and common sense approach to management and project controls is based on a “best practices” approach – meaning we use the most up to date and complete tools and procedures to deliver projects.

FORENSIC ANALYSIS

We provide forensic analysis of time impacts and evaluations of entitlements for additional time and money.

Inefficiencies typically relate to unforeseen conditions and RFIs; owners decision making and directive of ways and means of the contractor, or even the parties understanding of the contract documents and site conditions.

PROGRESS UPDATE

In tracking the results as the project progresses, we will alert management to any critical variances and threats that occur.

In addition, we will then document the reasons for any delays and help determine who is ultimately responsible for the delay.
